Patausyndrome is not a medical term that I am familiar with. It is possible that you may be thinking of Patau syndrome, also known as trisomy 13, which is a rare genetic disorder that occurs when a baby is born with an extra copy of the chromosome 13 in all or some of the cells in the body. This extra copy of genetic material can cause serious health problems and physical abnormalities.
